Cape Town Legal Logistics currently focuses on the Southern Suburbs corridor between Tokai and the Cape Town CBD. This allows us to move efficiently along the major routes while keeping your filing, lodgment and upliftment runs reliable and predictable.
Our coverage area is designed around the main courts and legal institutions, so that your matters move quickly between your firm, the Master’s Office, Deeds Office, High Court, Magistrates’ Court and relevant municipal and Sheriff offices.
If your address falls roughly along this Tokai–to–CBD line or nearby, you are likely within our standard service area. The sections below explain the exact institutions and neighbourhoods we serve, as well as how we handle out-of-area instructions.
| Institution | Typical CTLL tasks |
|---|---|
| Western Cape Division of the High Court (Cape Town) | Filing of originals, issuing and enrolling, document upliftment, urgent walk-ins and follow-up checks. |
| Cape Town, Wynberg, Athlone, Goodwood, Simon's Town Magistrates Courts (Other jurisdictions on request) | Filing and issuing, case file upliftments, status checks and returns. |
| Master’s Office (Cape Town) | Lodgment of estates, trusts, and L&D accounts, uplifting stamped documents and following up on queries. |
| Deeds Office (Cape Town) | Lodgment and execution support, tracking batches, collecting uplifted deeds or rejected matters. |
| Municipal offices within the Tokai–CBD corridor | Submitting and collecting municipal rates and clearance certificate documentation, and related follow-ups. |
| Sheriff offices within the Tokai–CBD corridor | Filing of process, issuing instructions, collecting returns of service and other Sheriff documents. |
| Cape Town CBD firm-to-firm deliveries (including Cape Bar) | Secure delivery of briefs, pleadings and bundles between firms, counsel and other legal service providers. |
Our standard coverage focuses on the Southern Suburbs and CBD corridor, allowing consistent travel times and predictable turnaround for your matters.
Examples of areas typically included within this corridor include:
- Tokai, Kirstenhof and surrounding business parks
- Bergvliet, Meadowridge and Diep River
- Plumstead, Wynberg and Kenilworth
- Claremont, Newlands and Rondebosch
- Rosebank, Observatory and Mowbray
- Woodstock, Salt River and Paarden Eiland
- Cape Town CBD and Foreshore
If you are just outside these neighbourhoods but still broadly along the same route, we may still be able to treat you as within our standard area, depending on exact location and timing.
Please note that areas significantly off this corridor, or requiring substantial detours, may be treated as out-of-area and quoted separately.
CTLL can often assist with matters that fall slightly, or even substantially, outside our standard Tokai–to–CBD corridor. Because these runs involve additional time, distance and parking, they are quoted individually rather than included in the all-inclusive standard fee.
Typical examples include: visiting a court or Sheriff outside the corridor, collecting from or delivering to a client’s premises, or combining several non-standard stops in one run. We can accommodate any other filing sent to us from anywhere in South Africa.
When you enquire, please provide the exact collection and delivery addresses, preferred timing, and the court or office involved. We will confirm feasibility, provide a clear upfront quote, and suggest the most cost-effective way to structure the run.
CTLL’s next planned phase of growth is to extend structured coverage into key Northern Suburbs nodes while keeping our Southern Suburbs corridor running smoothly.
If your firm is based in the Northern Suburbs, you are welcome to engage with us now. Depending on your volume and routes, we may already be able to assist on a scheduled or semi-regular basis, or structure a custom package that includes Northern Suburbs runs.
As expansion progresses, we will confirm which Northern Suburbs areas qualify for standard, all-inclusive pricing and which will remain on a quoted basis. Early conversations with firms in these areas help us design routes and service days that are genuinely practical.
Within our standard Tokai–to–CBD coverage corridor, CTLL works on clear, all-inclusive fees that already factor in fuel, and typical CBD parking costs. This is reflected in both our Associate Plan subscription and our pay-as-you-go per-run pricing.
Where an instruction requires travel significantly outside this corridor, we treat it as an out-of-area or special route and provide a once-off quote. You will always know in advance whether a run falls within the standard coverage or carries an additional fee.
For a detailed breakdown of fees and inclusions, please visit the Pricing & Plans page, and review the Services overview to see which types of runs are covered. You can also refer to the coverage section of our FAQ for common questions about areas and surcharges.
If you are unsure whether your address falls within our standard Tokai–to–CBD corridor, you are welcome to check with us before you commit to using the service.
Please send us your firm’s address, the courts or offices you most frequently use, and an indication of your expected monthly volume. We will confirm whether you fall into our normal coverage zone, whether a small adjustment is needed, or whether a custom arrangement would make more sense.
Our aim is to provide clear, predictable logistics support so there are no surprises on either coverage or cost.
